The editorial office of Gland Surgery is pleased to announce that, effective October 2022, Prof. Chen-ping Zhang will become the co-Editor-in-Chief in tandem with Prof. Emad Kandil and Prof. Xi-ru Li.
Prof. Chen-ping Zhang (MD, DDS, FRCS), is specialized in surgical treatment of oral maxillofacial head and neck neoplasm, especially on functional mandible reconstruction. He has been appointed as academic leader Professor of Department of Oral & Maxillofacial – Head & Neck Oncology, Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Council Member of International Academy of Oral Oncology, Director of IAOMS Oral and Maxillofacial Oncology and Reconstructive Surgery Training Fellowship Program, Joint Training Centre in Oral-Maxillofacial and Head and Neck Oncology of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK.
We are excited to have Prof. Chen in the position to build on the work of the current editors and to add brilliance to GS, and for the journal to reach new heights.
