Dr. Yang Wang is Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Peking Union Medical College, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Department of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Yang Wang was raised in Beijing and educated at the Peking Union Medical College in general surgery, as well as in plastic surgery at the Beijing Plastic Surgery Hospital in Beijing, China. Dr. Wang had postgraduate training in plastic surgery at the Nippon Medical School of Tokyo, Japan.
Dr. Wang served as a member of the Organ Reconstruction Committee and Autogenous Fat Transplantation Committee of the Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association (CMA) in 2013-2016, and a member of the Replantation and Reconstruction Group of China Rehabilitation Association for Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation. Dr. Wang is an active member of 4 scientific societies, including Chinese Society of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons (CAPS), Aesthetic Surgery Society of China (ASSC).
Dr. Wang’s principle research interests have been in flap reconstructive surgery, and Autogenous Fat Transplantation. He has a particular interest in novel technologies in breast reconstruction, and in Autogenous Fat Transplantation (adipose-derived stem cells,ADSCs).
Dr. Wang is the author of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and he is the editor-in-chief of the first book of Liposuction of China, and the vice editor-in-chief of Female Aesthetic and Plastic Suregry, Breast Plastic Suregry.
